Biography
Steve joined Cory Meredith in 2013 after graduating with high distinction from Ohio Northern University’s Claude W. Pettit College of Law. While at ONU Law, Steve served as Manuscript Editor on the Ohio Northern University Law Review, President of the Street Law organization, and teaching assistant to Prof. Hilary Kao for Business Organizations I & Business Organizations II.
Steve won first place in the school’s Berke E. Smith Trial Advocacy competition and was a quarter-finalist in the Daniel S. Guy Appellate Advocacy competition. He was inducted into The Willis Society, membership in which is reserved for those graduating in the top 10% of the third-year class.
Steve also served as an extern to the Honorable Joseph H. Niemeyer in the Hancock County Court of Common Pleas. Steve earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio Northern, with a B.A. in Journalism. While an undergrad, Steve was Managing Editor for Ohio Northern’s Northern Review and Captain of ONU’s Mock Trial team, which participated in AMTA’s national mock trial competition.
Since joining Cory Meredith in 2013, Steve has focused his practice in civil litigation, personal injury, and insurance defense.
